2000

Taclink was founded. The first EDFA modules were successfully developed.

2001

Quality Management Certification ISO9001 obtained. Start of EDFAs in mass-production.

2002

Broadband optical amplifier won the national Key New Product certificate. Taclink has been started volume deliveries to main customer of 2.5g optical transceiver.

2003

It was designated by the Ministry of Information Industry as the unit for compiling the national standard of optical fiber amplifiers. In the same month, the self-developed "multi-wavelength optical fiber amplifier" was included in the National Torch Program .

2004

Undertook the 863 communication theme major project "Research and Implementation of WDM Ultra-long-distance Optical Transmission Technology" and passed the acceptance . At the same time, fiber optic amplifiers are exported to mainstream communication equipment manufacturers in North America.

2005

The company's new factory building was put into use. The products entered the European market and were supplied in batches.

2006

The company was rated as a national key high-tech enterprise , and was rated as " Excellent Supplier of the Year " by major international customers .

2007

The company has passed ISO14001 environmental system certification. WDM Ultra-Long Distance Optical Transmission Equipment was recognized and received the prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award by central government.

2008

Taclink was awarded as “Engineering Technology Center of Jiangsu Province”. In the same month, we jointly built a public service platform for optoelectronic technology with Wuxi High-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center and established a post-doctoral workstation in Taclink.

2009

The supporting optical fiber communication project of the State Grid Qinghai-Tibet ±400kV DC interconnection project undertaken by the company was put into operation.

2010

Successfully developed half MSA, Mini amplifier, high power optical amplifier and other products.   Successfully developed 10G XFP and SFP+ transceiver modules.  More than 1 million optical transceiver modules were delivered in this year.

2011

It was rated as an excellent enterprise company in Jiangsu Province , and its invention patent won the Wuxi Patent Excellence Award .

2012

It was rated as an industry-leading model unit in Jiangsu Province. The 10G×40ch DWDM trunk ring network transmission project undertaken by the company was put into operation. Fiber amplifier series products have passed UL certification.

2013

Taclink was certified by Wuxi "safety production standardization".

2014

Optical amplifiers and optical transceiver modules were certified by UL and TUV.

2015

The "optical transmission subsystem equipment" independently developed by the company undertakes the enterprise innovation and achievement transformation project in Jiangsu Province.

2016

"Optical transmission subsystem equipment" is identified as a specialized and special new product for small and medium-sized enterprises in Jiangsu Province. The company was officially renamed as Wuxi Taclink Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. In the same year, the company participated in specifying 8 industry standards including 40/100Gbit/s Intensity Modulation Pluggable Optical Transceiver, which won the first prize of Science and Technology of China Communications Standardization Association.

2017

The second building of the plant is under construction with a floor area of 15300 square meters and will be completed in November.  In the same year, the company's products won the title of Jiangsu famous brand products and Wuxi famous brand products.  In October 2017, the company passed OHSAS 18001 occupational Health and safety management system certification.

2018

The Changji-Guquan ±1100KV UHVDC transmission project uses the ultra-long distance optical amplification subsystem developed by Taclink, which has been successfully put into operation. It is the UHVDC transmission project with the highest voltage grade, the largest transmission capacity, the longest transmission distance and the most advanced technology level in the world.

2019

Opening of second building in Wuxi to increase further manufacturing capabilities.  In the same year the Taclink has passed telecom industry quality management system TL9000 certification.
