Taclink Shines at OFC 2026: 1.6T Optical Module Breakthrough Powers Global Computing Infrastructure Upgrade

The 51st Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC 2026) concluded successfully in Los Angeles, USA. Taclink showcased its full range of core products at Booth 1755, launching the groundbreaking 1.6T OSFP DR8 Optical Transceiver, a testament to the company’s technological prowess and global competitiveness in the field of ultra-high-speed optical interconnection.

At the exhibition, Taclink highlighted the 1.6T OSFP DR8 Optical Transceiver, specifically engineered for AI computing clusters and ultra-large-scale data centers. This next-generation high-speed interconnection solution is tailored to the high-frequency data transmission demands of AI large models, injecting new vitality into computing infrastructure upgrades. Featuring the OSFP standard package and 8-channel parallel transmission, the module delivers a total rate of 1.6Tbps and supports 500-meter single-mode transmission, fully complying with mainstream industry specifications.

Backed by the synergy of 3nm process DSP and silicon photonics technology, its power consumption has been optimized to ≤23W, delivering exceptional signal integrity, thermal performance, and stability. The company is also simultaneously developing cutting-edge technologies such as 1.6T optical module Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) modulators, enabling customers to achieve smooth upgrades.

In addition to the flagship 1.6T optical module, Taclink prominently presented its DCI (Data Center Interconnect) products at the show. Widely applicable to scenarios such as data center interconnection, metropolitan wavelength division, and enterprise private networks, these products efficiently support large-granularity service transmission and meet multi-scenario interconnection needs.

Meanwhile, the company exhibited its full line of optical transceivers and optical amplifiers, comprehensively covering market demands for diverse rates and application scenarios. This fully demonstrates Taclink’s integrated strength in its full industrial chain layout and its capability to provide one-stop optical interconnection solutions for global customers.
